Chairul Tanjung 'Si Anak Singkong' share a tips to be Successful

Bandung - Chairul Tanjung 'Si Anak Singkong' (means The Children of Cassava or also means The Children of humble) attended to share his success story to thousands of students and residents of the Bandung city who came at Jobvaganza Fiesta event in Campus of Padjadjaran University, Thursday (05/30/2013). Boss of CT Corps is the person whom student share their problems who wants to follow his footstep to be successful person.

"Success is a right of all the people. All the people have a right, and can be success. Remember it in hearts and minds," said CT at Sanusi Unpad house.

No matter whether son of president, general, or son of nothing can be succes if he know the secret. "Success is follow yourself. Do you want to know what a secret? just think and do like successful person," he said.

He said, thinking and doing like a successful person is smart, hardworking and want to hangout with anyone alias networking. "All the people want to success, but just a little who want to thinking and doing like successful person. It's the reason why succesful person tend to be lower than those who did not succed," said CT.

Remember his past, CT is also told that he lived in a tenement with a separate WC from home. The most successful people in the village when it's time was a motorcycle broker. only a few people in the village who tried to change the circumstances.

CT, who was admitted to the Faculty of Dentistry in University of Indonesia needs Rp. 75.000 (equal as 72usd). "My mother pawn her smooth batik cloth for me. It was a trigger for me not to ask a money to the parents, " he told.

In University of Indonesia campus, CT began honing his business skills by selling the copies paper to his friends. After graduated, CT also prefers to follow his passion as an entrepreneur rather than be a dentist.

"I was a graduate dentist who never open a practices house. Don't follow me. Or dentistry graduates never open a practices house because they want to be CT," he joked to laughter.

According to him, no one's sins by taking different steps taken in college education. Because of the knowledge gained in college, whatever it is, it will be used as well.

"Like me, dentistry is used precision and perfectionism. Dentist it so," said CT.

At starting to be big businessman such as it is today, CT said that herself do the think abnormal, out of the grip and out of the box. One is also important that the prayer of mother, CT said.
